Oregon voter turnout at 32 percent Friday, on track to reach 70 percent on Election Day | OregonLive.com

Well I guess that’s pretty good if it turns out that way but what do you think? Is 70% good when you have a ballot that’s in your hands for nearly 3 weeks and you can mail it or conveniently drop it off? I think we can do much better! Remember the Iraqi’s "purple thumbs"? They knew how precious the gift of voting is!

"Nearly 700,000 Oregon voters have their ballots filled out and turned in. Another 800,000 or so are expected to get theirs in this weekend. Or Monday. Or Tuesday morning. And then of course, there’s Tuesday night at 7:59 p.m. All votes count the same."
