Outside Oregon’s population centers, rural economies still have much to recover | OregonLive.com

by Rep. Bill Post

I saw the "good news" of our economy this week in the fiscal revenue reports, but this headline nails it. Most of our state is still hurting. Yes I know, the major population centers are doing pretty well, but what about all of our rural folks? Farms, ranches, small businesses. We need to take care of ALL of Oregon. I hope that our friends on the "other" side of the aisle remember that they represent ALL of Oregon as well as their metro districts.

"Although things are starting to up for rural Oregon, many regions continue to struggle."
